Take Caution When Watering Your Garden!

Although we are aware of the pollution problems that have been caused in the past, and are now taking measures to be more eco friendly, the damage, although not irreversible, is done.

Chemicals and additives have been introduced to city and town water supplies to the extent that the water is undrinkable. Some cities and towns have even added Fluoride into their water source. Although good for teeth, and a natural occurring mineral, excessive amounts can be toxic.

Many people now buy bottled water to drink instead of using tap water. This trend will continue until our waterways and resources can be cleaned up to the extent that we don’t have to be cautious about where our drinking and watering sources are coming from.

The problems we have with our drinking water, also spills over to everything that our water comes in contact with. If you are using tap water to water your garden, you may be adding chemicals to the soil that are harmful. The water source you use to water your vegetable garden could contain vast amounts of chlorine, along with many other harmful chemicals.
